Our Independence day
We, the people of India celebrates our Independence Day on 15 August and this time we are celebrating the 74th anniversary of freedom from British government.
On 15 August 1947 our first Prime minister Pt. Jawahar lal Nehru hoisted the national flag above the Lahori gate of Red Fort at Delhi.
HISTORY BEFORE 74 YEARS
Before 74 years, the Indian Independence bill was introduced in the British house of Commons on July 4 1947, and passed with in 15 days. On August 15,1947
The British rule over India ended and marked history.
We get our Independence by the affords of millions of people and it's a matter of pride for us, the people of India. I am paying my gratitude to all the freedom fighters who gave us freedom and opportunity to celebrate this day.
SPECIALITY OF THIS DAY
On this day, our Prime minister participate in the flag raising ceremony at the Red fort at Delhi. He addresses the country about it's major accomplishments and future goals. Independence day is celebrated by whole India with Flag raising ceremony, drills and the singing of our nation anthem.
In the ceremony, performed at Red fort many people took participate, like students, guests and all the people who want to witness the huge celebration.
INDEPENDENCE DAY 2020
This year, every thing is scheduled as same as always but dueto the Pendamic of Corona virus only few people are allowed to witness this occasion. Students, citizens and other's are not allowed this year to prevent the crowd. This year everyone is requested to celebrate the Independence day at home and avoid gatherings.
